Georgian Airways opened a direct flight to Paris-CDG and Brussels on Tuesday 27 March 2018. The Georgian national airline now offers two weekly flights between its Tbilisi-Shota Rustaveli base and Paris-CDG, operated in Embraer 190 which can accommodate 9 passengers in Business class and 88 in Economy departures are scheduled Tuesday and Friday at 18:00 Tbilisi time to arrive at 20:50 Paris time. Return flights leaving France at 21h50 to land the next day at 4h20. Georgian Airways will be unrivalled on this route.
The company also inaugurated two weekly rotations between Tbilisi and Brussels Zaventem, still operated in E190. Departures are scheduled for Thursday and Sunday at 7.30 am Tbilisi time to arrive at 10.20 am in Brussels. The return flights leave Belgium at 12.20 and land at 17.30 in Tbilisi.
Georgian Airways announced in September 2017 its intention to develop its network to Western Europe, mentioning Paris and Brussels but also Barcelona, Berlin and Bologna. Finally, seven more lines are being launched this spring: Barcelona-El Prat airports in Spain, Berlin-Schönefeld and Düsseldorf in Germany, Bologna-Guglielmo Marconi in Italy and Bratislava-MR Stefanik in Slovakia are now also entitled to two flights per week in E190.
